Artist Statement

My painting practice explores human states of consciousness and the ways in which they shape perception, attention, and inner experience. I understand painting as a space where energy, frequency, and structure can take form, not as a representation of external reality, but as a manifestation of perceptual and experiential states.

My work develops through an intuitive and time-based process. Each painting begins without a fixed image and unfolds gradually through the interaction of color, form, and internal structure. Many of the compositions are organized around centers, axes, and systems of expansion that emerge during the act of painting, generating fields of tension, rhythm, and balance.

The foundation of my practice is a sustained interest in perception and states of consciousness, both ordinary and expanded. Meditation and other forms of inner attention are part of my process, not as subjects to illustrate, but as conditions from which the painting is made.

Through Frequencies, I investigate how painting can register subtle shifts in consciousness and translate them into visual form, opening spaces of resonance and embodied perception.
